Vice President of Information Technology
Mike joined TotalWorks in 1999 to help the company with the expansion of its IT department. As vice president of information technology, he is responsible for providing business and technology leadership and vision.
Mike develops and implements IT strategies that support the company’s strategic plan. Collaborating with clients to assess their technology needs, he is responsible for developing solutions that enable them to achieve their business goals through transformation and growth.
Before coming to TotalWorks, Mike spent five years in management positions at LDR Industries in Chicago.
At LDR he designed and created an MRP application utilizing VBA, MS Excel and Intermec Mainframe to manage and automate purchasing. Mike also worked as a buyer/category manager responsible for more than $13 million in inventory. His achievements include the implementation of scheduling and plan-o-gram systems, which improved setup times by 30%, as well as creation of a production scheduling program which resulted in a 20% efficiency improvement.
Mike earned his BA from Rosary College in River Forest, Illinois. He has since earned certifications in web development, C++ programming and SQL administration/development.
