Bruce Jensen
Executive Vice PresidentA third-generation owner, Bruce Jensen has been with his family's business for 22 years. In 1985, Jensen joined TotalWorks as vice president. In this role, he applied his production and technology expertise, such as color management and proofing, to initiate internal systems upgrades which led to better production efficiencies. He is involved in optimizing the company's publishing workflow through implementation of best-practice systems and software. Jensen also oversees the internal information technology processes at TotalWorks.
Prior to joining TotalWorks, Jensen was production manager at R.F. Schmidt and Associates, a commercial art studio located in Chicago. There, he managed all production processes, staff and workflows, and focused on achieving efficiencies of human and equipment resources. In addition, Jensen was responsible for managing the production of all graphically designed store display and
POP (point-of-purchase) materials for the company's primary customer, Sears.Jensen began his career with T.P. Graphics, a subsidiary of TotalWorks. He worked as a production artist and graphic designer, perfecting his skills in the pre-high-tech manual processes of design and production.
Jensen attended Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism and graphics arts. He is a member of IPA (The Association of Graphic Solutions Providers), PII (The Printing Industry of Illinois) and PIA/GATF (Printing Industries of America/Graphic Arts Technical Foundation).
